The gPhone?
Many people have hyped and predicted about why Google wanted the 700mhz spectrum, and it looks like they were right. Google has started to present prototypes of the phone to vendors. It looks like they are trying to make a phone that runs in the cloud rather than with the carriers software. This seems to be the perfect implementation of Google Gears! Imagine taking your phone on a plane (in Airplane Mode) and editing some documents with Google Docs and Spreadsheets, then when you got off the plane it would be synchronized with the online version.
